Visual Mask

Inspiration struck when I saw filters on social media apps and I wanted to explore their effects by creating three virtual masks using a tablet tool.

In exploring virtual masks, I found it very interesting to create virtual masks using Procreate. These virtual masks automatically match the shape of your face and as you move your head it dynamically adjusts with your face without discomfort or the need to make manual adjustments, making them very comfortable to wear.

However, this virtual mask can only be used on social networks and electronic devices such as mobile phones, not in real life, so its use in scenarios is limited. To solve this problem, I decided to handcraft a physical mask for people to wear in their daily lives. I hope that this mask will allow people to express their emotions bravely and allow them to find their sparkle in everyday life.

This real mask is not only fun, but also practical. It allows people to feel more confident and comfortable when they are out and about, as well as allowing them to show off their personality and emotions. Whether you are walking, shopping or meeting up with friends, you can wear this mask and make yourself the centre of attention. Instead of expressing emotions on social networks, I want people to be able to bring those emotions into real life and express their uniqueness by wearing a mask.
